  • Google User Data: When you connect your Google Account (for Google OAuth sign-in or authorizing email communication services such as sending transactional and platform emails via Gmail API on your behalf), we access your basic profile information (name and email address) and authorization tokens necessary to send authorized emails on your behalf.

We use collected data strictly to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our educational and LMS services
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your user account
  • Send service notifications and platform emails authorized by you

Google API Services User Data Policy & Limited Use Disclosure

EkoDemy's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:

  • We strictly use Google user data solely to provide and improve user-facing features and functionality of our platform (specifically, authenticating user sign-ins and transmitting transactional/communication emails that you explicitly configure or trigger).
  • We do not use Google user data to serve advertisements, including personalized, re-targeted, or interest-based advertising.
  • We do not sell, rent, or trade Google user data to third parties under any circumstances.
  • We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI/ML models.
  • Human employees or contractors do not read your Google user data unless you have given explicit consent for specific troubleshooting, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating a bug or abuse), or to comply with applicable laws.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share information with third parties in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Trusted third-party vendors who assist us in hosting, infrastructure, and payment processing, strictly bound by confidentiality and security obligations to process data solely on our behalf. Note: Google user data is never shared with third parties for analytics, marketing, or advertising purposes.
  • Legal Compliance: If required by law, subpoena, or valid court order.

Data Retention and Deletion of Google User Data

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy and provide our services:

  • Retention Period: Google OAuth tokens and related user data are retained only as long as your account remains active and connected to the Google integration. If you disconnect your Google integration or delete your account, access tokens and associated credentials are immediately removed or invalidated.
  • User Control & Deletion Request: You can disconnect your Google Account at any time directly through your account settings or revoke access via Google Security Settings.
  • Data Deletion Requests: To request complete deletion of your account and any associated Google user data stored on our servers, you may submit a request to support@ekodemy.in. All requested user data will be permanently deleted from our active databases within 30 days.
